Day 1 – Discover Rome City centre

Welcome to Italy! Begin your journey with an exciting tuk-tuk tour of Rome’s historic city centre, lasting 3 hours. This unique experience will take you through the legendary Seven Hills of Rome, each with its own distinct character and rich history. As you zip through the streets of the Eternal City, you’ll uncover treasures from the ancient Roman Empire to the vibrant modern age. After the tour, our assistant will meet you to hand over your rental car, giving you the freedom to explore the region at your own pace. Please remember that to rent a car in Italy, you’ll need a valid driver’s license recognized in the country and a credit card for the rental transaction. You will then transfer to Fiuggi. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy some free time. Dinner in hotel.

Day 2 – The Most Beautiful Terraces in Europe, Anagni

Discover Anagni, praised by the german historian Gregorovius as “one of the most beautiful terraces in Europe.” Visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria Annunziata, a stunning Romanesque monument with a frescoed crypt known as the “Sistine Chapel of the Middle Ages.” Explore the Museum and Crypt of the Cathedral of Anagni (MuCA), where priceless treasures of southern Lazio are preserved. After your visit, enjoy free time to immerse yourself in the historic charm of Anagni.

Day 3 – Montecassino Religion & War 

Explore the Abbey of Montecassino, founded in 529 AD by St. Benedict of Nursia. This iconic Benedictine monastery, the second oldest in Italy, offers breathtaking views from its hilltop location. Discover the basilica adorned with intricate mosaics and frescoes, and visit the abbey’s library and museum, home to ancient manuscripts and religious artifacts. Stroll through the serene cloisters and beautifully landscaped gardens. Montecassino is also a significant historical site, playing a crucial role during the Second World War.

Day 4 Free time and departure

Enjoy your last day with some free time to explore Fiuggi or simply relax at your own pace. Take in the peaceful atmosphere, perhaps indulging in a leisurely stroll or last-minute shopping. Later, you will return your rental car and transfer to the airport for your departure. Safe travels!
