Description

A whole day tour that includes the visit of the world’s most famous archeological site, POMPEII, the roman city destroyed by an eruption of the Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Initially the excavations, started by the Bourbon king Charles III, were carried out in order to find art objects for the private collection of the king but soon they got a more scientific purpose. Pompeii offers, now, an intact vision of daily life in a Roman society in all its aspects.  Our guide will bring this ancient resort town to life and ensure that you will enjoy all of its most important treasures.
At the end of the guided tour, we will move to a little country located in the heart of the National Park of Vesuvius, a unique location where we will have an unforgettable wine tasting and light lunch.
We will conclude the tour with the visit of Herculaneum famous as one of the few ancient cities that can now be admired in much of its original splendor.
